What is it?
You’ll find the list of bosses in the “Combat” section → “Bosses”. Some bosses are personal: you fight them alone. Others are shared: many players attack the same boss, each in their own time. Some bosses are open to everyone, others require Dawn+ membership, and one appears only during Halloween.
How an attack works
One attack is up to twelve rounds, played out at once. The boss really hits back, and food and arrows are really used up. You can be defeated or, when your Hitpoints run low, retreat alive.
You have to wait longer between attacks than between regular actions.
Shared bosses
A shared boss stays for hours once it appears. You can join in at different times – nobody has to be online at the same time.
Each further attack you make on the same appearance counts as a smaller and smaller contribution. So one player can’t “claim” a boss – it takes more players.
What you get
The reward is XP and crafting components you can’t get anywhere else. It is saved in your name and claimed separately, so it doesn’t disappear if you are offline at the time or your inventory is full.
Bosses give neither coins nor Crowns. The final blow is shown, but it gives no extra prize.
