House and Garden

Every account has a House from day one – you don’t have to earn it. Without the Stove, you can’t even cook food.

What’s in the House

You’ll find your House in the “World” section → “House and Garden”. It has Storage, a Stove, a Bed and alchemy recipes, with the Garden next to it.

Storage

Storage counts different items, not amounts. Adding more of a raw material that is already stored costs nothing, but a new item needs a free slot. You start with a few hundred slots. You can protect taking items out of your House with a PIN code.

Stove

You put firewood in the Stove. It burns one piece after another and keeps the fire going – while the fire burns, you can cook. Cooking needs fire. Burned firewood leaves ashes, and ashes can be used to fertilize the Garden.

Garden

The Garden grows in real time. You sow seeds, wait until the plants are ripe and harvest – you get a plant, Gardening skill experience and XP. You buy seeds in a shop, and when you harvest the whole crop, some of the seeds come back.

Fertilized with ashes, the Garden grows faster. You can also harvest automatically and during Offline Training.

Extension

You can expand your Storage with an extension. The first extension needs only bricks kept in your House – no coins and no granite. Later extensions cost more and need more materials. To get a bigger Storage, you need to mine, chop and craft.

Why it matters

Your inventory is limited, and gathering gives you lots of identical items. The House is where that surplus stays out of your way. In the Bed, you rest for as long as you choose and slowly regain Hitpoints and Mana.

In practice, your House soon becomes your base: you head out with food and arrows, and when you return you put away what you don’t need right now.
