Guilds of Dawn

Rules

These are the same five rules shown on the Board of Laws in the game’s City – nothing here is different.

Common rules for everyone

  1. Do not harm the system and do not use automated programs.
  2. Report bugs and troublemakers to the administration.
  3. Respect other players; do not insult, slander or impersonate the administration.
  4. Advertising, publishing account details and fraud are forbidden.
  5. Passwords are personal and must never be shared with anyone.

What the server checks

Some rules are checked by the server, not by a person. It has protection against too many requests and against automated programs. Automatic protection never blocks an account permanently – it can only pause your actions for a while or ask you to confirm that you’re human.

The exact limits are deliberately not published – a published limit would be a guide to staying just under it without being noticed. Administration actions are logged.

Account security

Your password is yours alone. The administration never asks for it: not in the game, not by email, not in chat. When you change your password, all other logins to your account are ended.

Violations

For serious or repeated violations, the administration can restrict or disable an account – including indefinitely – and apply other restrictions needed to enforce the rules. Report bugs, violations or suspicious behavior to the administration.
